Vitamin C deficiency weakens healthy immune responses

Vitamin C, also known as “Ascorbic Acid” is a water-soluble vitamin that helps to boost and maintain a healthy immune system. Vitamin C is naturally sourced from foods or can alternatively be obtained from vitamin supplements.

Vitamin C can help:

Aim to get several servings a day of vitamin C rich food to boost immune health.

Many foods contain vitamin c such as citrus fruits, grapefruit, orange, kiwifruit, guava, and lemon. Other fruits high in Vitamin C are strawberries, papaya, and cantaloupe. In addition to the fruits, certain vegetables such as broccoli, green pepper, bell pepper, parsley, cauliflower, tomatoes, brussel sprouts, mustard greens, and capsicums are equally good sources of Ascorbic Acid for immune boosting.

If getting these foods in daily is a challenge you can always supplement with a good quality liposomal form of vitamin C . Liposomal forms are more easily absorbed by the cells and are less harsh on the stomach. I have posted a link below that has a wide selection of high quality vitamin C supplements.
