Salted Caramel Sticky Buns/Healthy with Happy

Step by step guide for the best sticky buns ever with freshly milled flour, from Healthy with Happy. Salted Caramel Sticky Bun recipe Ingredients: 1¼ cup warm water 1 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt 2 Tbsp Organic Coconut Oil 2 Tbsp Honey (if you don’t have honey, organic cane sugar will work.) ¼ tsp Vitamin C Powder (optional) 3 cups Fresh Ground Whole Wheat Flour 1 Tbsp Yeast Topping Ingredients: 1/2 Stick of Butter 1/2 cup Brown Sugar 1/8 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt 1 ½ Tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream 1/4 cup Pecans Filling Ingredients: 1/4 cup Organic Cane Sugar 2-3 Tbsp Cinnamon (for taste) Topping Instructions: Melt butter and brown sugar together in a small saucepan on medium heat. Once melted add salt and heavy whipping cream and stir in. Pour into a liberally greased 9inch cake pan and sprinkle with pecans. Instructions: Place all ingredients in the mixer in the order listed above except for the yeast. Make sure the flour is covering the liquid and make a little indention on top of the flour and place the yeast on top. If using a bread machine turn on the “dough” cycle and let knead for 20 minutes. In a Bosch mixer turn on speed 1 for 30 seconds. If dough is too wet and sticking to the sides of the bowl add more flour, leave the mixer on and add one tablespoon of flour at a time until the dough begins to leave the sides of the bowl. Do not add too much flour or the dough will become too dry and the bread will not rise. Place the lid on the mixer and turn on speed 2 for 5 minutes. Spray your countertop with non-stick spray and turn the dough out of the bowl. Roll dough out into a 9 by 9 square and sprinkle with filling mixture. Roll jelly roll style into a log and cut into eight pieces about an inch thick. Place in the pan on top of topping mixture. Let rise in cold oven for thirty minutes or until doubled. Then bake on 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until done. Remove from oven and turn over onto plate, let cool and enjoy!

Easiest Wheat Bread with fresh ground Spelt flour/ Bosch Mixer/ Healthy with Happy

Welcome to Healthy with Happy! In todays video we will be making 100% whole wheat crescent rolls also known as butterhorn rolls. Here is the recipe, hope you enjoy! Ingredients: 1 ¼ cups Warm Water 1 tsp Himalayan Pink salt 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 Tbsp Honey (if you don’t have honey, organic cane sugar will work.) ¼ tsp Vitamin C Powder (optional) 1 egg 3 cups Fresh Ground Whole Wheat Flour 1 Tbsp Yeast ½ Stick Butter (melted) Instructions: Place all ingredients in the mixer in the order listed except for the flour. Add flour so that it covers all the liquid and make a little indentation in the flour and add the yeast. Turn the mixer on and let knead 5 minutes on speed 2 of a Bosch mixer. If using a Kitchen aid knead 10 to 12 minutes until dough is smooth and satiny. If using a bread machine place all ingredients in and use the “dough” cycle-should knead about 20 minutes. Remove the dough and place on a surface sprayed with nonstick spray or oil. Spray hands with nonstick spray and shape into loaves or rolls. Let rise in a draft free area (I use my cold oven) for 20 minutes or until the dough has risen just above the edge of the loaf pan or almost doubled in size. Place the bread in the cold oven and turn oven to 350 degrees. Bread will finish rising while oven heats up. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until done. Remove bread from pans and place on a cooling rack. Brush with butter and cover with a towel until cool. Enjoy!
